One project I worked on over the past year had some big news this week.

Upstream Color will premiere at Sundance 2013 along with several other Texas offerings.

New gear!

My Tascam recorder has been retired from active duty and replaced by a Sound Devices 744T.
I have also added a Denecke TS-C smart slate to my kit.
So I am now able to offer 4 tracks of audio as well as full time code capability.

Inventors & Vendors, a comedy I did production audio for last summer now has a trailer out. This was a great cast and crew to work with and I look forward to seeing the entire movie.

Success Stories

A while back I was interviewed by the Dallas County Community College District to be used as one of their success stories. I was kind of surprised as I never got my degree, but taking RTVB classes at North Lake was instrumental in getting me to where I am in the sound for picture business. So, I guess I am a success story for them.

Boogie Macro

Between projects I’m always doing something, messing with my camera, recording some music, basically experimenting and practicing my craft. I haven’t been doing anything with these projects...until now.

Boogie Macro is the first of my downtime art pieces.

I did all the photography, edit, color grading and sound design. And that is even me playing the guitar at the end.

My plan is to release a little bit of art once a month or so as I have time between my normal gigs. Anyway, hope you enjoy it.
